Satellite Information

• There's more information available on the Satellite page beyond current location, accuracy and elevation.

Satellite Map

• Determine satellite location relative to your current position:

• Zenith: Satellites located directly overhead provide better accuracy when calculating vertical position.
• Elevation: Most visible satellites are found midway in the sky and are best used to determine horizontal position.
• Horizon: Satellites near the horizon are more sensitive to geographic obstructions and therefore less reliable.
• : Dynamic heading indicator displayed only when display is configured for 'North Up' in the option menu.

Signal Strength

• A: Searching for an available L1/E1 satellite signal.
• B: L1/E1 signal located, downloading data.
• C: L1/E1 data contributing to location calculation.

• F: L5/E5a data contributing to location calculation.

Satellite Page Display

• Multi-GNSS, GPS only, Demo Mode and Multi-Band can be enabled/disabled in [Setup > System > Satellite].
• Press D-PAD    to alternate display between available satellite constellations while Multi-GNSS is enabled.

Recording Controls

• Press (Enter) to quickly access essential recording controls, and (Quit) to return to the Satellite page.

Press (Enter) for direct access to recording controls	[Start] a new Activity Recording	[Stop] the current Activity Recording	Manage the current Activity Recording

 

 

 

Option Menu

• Press (MENU) to open the Satellite page option menu:

 
• Available when GPS position is unknown or after enabling Demo Mode in Satellite Setup:
• Set Location On Map - Choose desired location for GPS simulation.
• Autolocate Position - Clears existing satellite almanac and begins a new search for available signals.
   
• Use With GPS On - Disables GPS Demo Mode and enables GPS.
   
• Track Up - The satellite map compass will display the current heading centered at the top of the screen.
• North Up - The satellite map compass is locked 'north up' with serving as a dynamic heading indicator.
   
• Single Color - All satellite icons and signals are displayed using the default color.
• Multicolor - Each satellite icon and signal set is displayed using a unique color.
   
• Satellite Setup - Opens the satellite setup page [Setup > System > Satellite].
